Border Hoarder is a survival challenge map where you begin in a tiny 1×1 world. Every time you collect a new unique item, the world border expands by one block, slowly turning scarcity into opportunity. Plan carefully, explore efficiently, and push the limits of what you can build with what the world gives you.
A successor to Border Hoarder created by SimonDMC and designed for modern versions of the game, with refined mechanics
and smoother progression. Use /lobby to track your progress and see how far you’ve pushed the border.
Modifications
A few elements in this seed had to be adjusted to ensure every item is collectable, you can find a brief overview of those changes here:
- The world must be on Hard difficulty - this is to ensure raids spawn correctly.
- The world & seed has been slightly modified, there is a handful of vanilla structures which have been added into the world to make it possible.
Manual Server Setup
You can set up a Border Hoarders server using the following steps:
- Download the files from the download page.
- Extract the downloaded ZIP file to a folder on your server.
- Make sure your server is running Paper, with Minecraft version 1.21.11.
- Optionally install VoiceChat plugin for in-game voice communication.
- Start your server and enjoy the Border Hoarders experience!
