High-quality, up-to-date add-ons for small to large buses. This bus offers fun from role-playing to crashing into vehicles.

It's about time I post a review on this absolutely astounding mod. We all know how bad the big vehicles situation is inside of BeamNG. The Capsule fixes at least the bus side of it. There's a lot of configs, each of them very unique, LOTS of parts that can be customized, and really fits the modern European/Asian transit bus vibe. Pros: -Configs. There's five lengths of buses to choose from, and two different body styles. You could put a shorty 10.5m Capsule on smaller, shorter, tighter routes, or put a Standard or articulated bus on on the busiest rush hour routes. There's also race configs, the Tourer coach bus, and the stupidly large (so large that it doesn't make sense IRL) Gigatransit/tourer. -Crashing. The crash model is highly detailed, and I'm not just talking about hitting straight on into a wall. I'm talking if you accidentally back up into a wall, the rear latch and sensor breaks, and even if you use the nodes to shut the engine door, the sensor will still register the door as open. However, some parts of the bus, such as the mirrors, are unrealistically fragile. -Ambience. The entire interior is lit up at night when you turn the interior lights on, giving off a futuristic "spaceship" like ambience (fits the name "Capsule"). The strip of light that says "ELECTRIC" also makes the exterior at night look really cool. And don't get me started on the Powerglow race models. -Hybrid models. We've had fully gasoline, diesel, and electric cars for years now in the vanilla game, but not a single hybrid. Not even the DT40L is hybrid, even though realistically governments would've purchased hybrid buses instead. The Capsule's hybrid system is really unique. You could choose between EV mode, CHARGE mode (to charge the battery with the engine), or normal mode where the two work in harmony. -Modern design. All the buses (including mods) we have are older/retro buses. This is, as far as I know of, the only modern lore-friendly modern bus mod there is. The interior is filled with glass, comfortable seating, and screens. The driver's cab gets a comfortable air seat, HUD, and a massive button panel to the side. The outside screen is color OLED and, best of all, works natively with the Bus Display Controller mod! (They're literally made by the same person lmao) -Functions & Detail. Remember how I talked about that giant button area next to the driver? What I forgot to mention as almost all of those buttons work. You could fold the mirrors, open doors & ramps, cancel stop requests, adjust the steering wheel angle, use the wipers etc. The amount of detail that goes into the rest of the bus is also crazy. Even the frits on the windows & windshield are highly detailed. When you turn the headlights on, the knob on the blinker stalk visibly turns. -Sounds. Although the sounds were mostly reused (the horn is from the Bluebuck and the turn signals from the Covet), they fit perfectly with the modern ambience of the Capsule. The door chime sounds exactly like what a modern bus with plug sliding doors' chime would sound like IRL. The low air and reverse chime are also quite calm and soothing, although it's highly recommended that you don't listen to them for extended periods. -Simplified traffic. I have NO IDEA what that button actually does on the front panel (on the "CAPSULE" logo), but it toggles the "Simplified Traffic" mode. No idea what that does since STV's aren't normal cars - they're specially simplified. Cons: -Performance & Optimization. This isn't an issue if you have a very beefy computer, but on lower end systems in 0.39, the textures are known to take an eternity to load. In 0.38, driving with the digital mirrors on WCUSA on Ultra settings resulted in the FPS dropping as low as 20 (the textures didn't have issues back then, and the cameras were disabled for 0.39 due to the flashing issue) on my 5060. -0.39 Support. I've said that the digital mirrors and reverse camera had to be disabled for 0.39. That is due to an issue where they'd repeatedly cause the entire screen to flash and become very overexposed. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. -Lighting. There's some LEDs on the side of the bus that light up the rear wheel area. Those, along with the interior lights, do not show up in the mirrors. The biggest issue is that the headlights are atrociously dim. Even with the high beams, I feel like I can't see 100 meters in front of my bus at night, not to mention the exposure is automatically turned down when the lights are turned on. They're significantly worse than the Wentward's lights, despite having superior headlight technology (LED projectors vs halogen reflectors). -Crash details. Sometimes in specific crashes or situations, parts of the bus may be ripped off. That is a JBeam issue, I believe. The door mechanism is also practically indestructible, capable of opening the doors even after the entire side has been demolished. Lastly, the windshield cracking texture is somewhat of low quality. -ESC & TCS. This is

It's an alr mod im however not a fan of the new cruise control update at all lets say i have the cruise capped at 30mph even when cruise control is off the buses will get to 30mph max i wish the cruise control would just work normally this imo makes the buses feel less fun driving/cruising around in

Amazing quality, almost every single button works, a load of configs, just plain good. Would easily outsell every single bus IRL too if it weren't for the abundance of glass which traps heat :)

I have always loved this bus and have taken a star off because, I don't know why, but when I start to play it, after the latest BeamNG update, there is a lot of flickering when I start the engine and using the internal camera.

This mod is extremely high quality but 2 stars is the absolute highest I can give it even being generous because this update's features made this thing unacceptably laggy even though I have a good enough PC to run effect-heavy and physically intense games like Rocket League with no lag at all
